DWF Viewer Instructions

To add BIGCenter to your compatibility settings:

1. Navigate to Tools (gear icon) > Compatibility View Settings.

2. Type bigcenter.com in the Add this website field.

3. Click the Add button.

4. Type big-rpms.com in the Add this website field.

5. Click the Add button.

6. Click the Close button.

To optimize your browser settings for BIGCenter:

1. Navigate to Tools (gear icon) > Internet Options > Security.

2. In the Trusted Sites section, click the Sites button.

3. Type https://v4.big-rpms.com in the Add this website to the zone field.

4. Click the Add button.

5. Deselect the Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone check box.

6. Click the Close button.

7. Adjust additional security settings by following the steps below:

   1. Click the Custom Level button in the Security level for this zone section.

      The Security Settings window opens.

   2. Select the Enable radio button for these settings in the Settings section:

      • Miscellaneous - Access data sources across domains

      • Miscellaneous - Display mixed content

      • Scripting – Allow Programmatic clipboard access

   3. Select the Disable option button for this setting in the Settings section:

      • Miscellaneous - Use Pop-up Blocker

   4. Click the OK button once you have completed these changes.

8. Click the OK button.

9. Refresh the browser cache by pressing Shift + CTRL + F5 on your keyboard.

To ensure IE is loading the newest version of BIGCenter:

1. Navigate to Tools (gear icon) > Internet Options > General.

2. Click the Settings button in the Browsing History section.

   The Website Data Settings window opens.

3. Ensure the option button for Every time I visit the webpage is selected.

4. Click the OK button.

If you experience issues with the installation of the DWF viewer:

1. Navigate to Tools (gear icon) > Safety > Delete Browsing History.

   You can also access this menu by holding CTRL + Shift + Delete on your keyboard.

   The Delete Browsing History window opens.

2. Deselect the Preserve Favorites website data check box.

3. Select the Temporary Internet Files and Website Files and Cookies and website data check boxes.

4. Click the Delete button.

   The Delete Browsing History window closes.

5. Uninstall Autodesk Design Review or Autodesk DWF Viewer from your computer.

6. Reinstall Autodesk Design Review or Autodesk DWF Viewer.

If you are still having issues, here are some higher level settings and steps that might help.

These instructions assume that Express Viewer V7 is already installed, and BIGCenter is added to your Compatibility View Settings and Trusted Sites.

• To disable the Enable Enhanced Protection Mode setting:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.

  2. Navigate to Tools (gear icon) > Internet Options.

     The Internet Options window opens.

  3. Click the Advanced tab.

  4. Scroll to the Security section.

  5. Deselect the Enable Enhanced Protection Mode check box.

  6. Click the OK button.

• To remove any shortcuts for Internet Explorer in the Start Menu:

  This is to eliminate the use of the 64-bit Version of Internet Explorer, which is not supported by BIGCenter.

  1. Run Internet Explorer as an administrator by following the steps below:

  2. Use windows explorer to navigate to "c:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer".

  3. Right-click the file iexplore.exe and select Pin to Start or Pin to Taskbar.

  4. Right-click the newly placed icon.

  5. Click Properties.

  6. On the Shortcuts tab, click Advanced button at the bottom right.

  7. Select Run as Administrator.

  8. Click the OK button.

  9. Click the newly created shortcut and try running a drawing report.
