Bookings Management in Kiosk - Facility Center

Note:

In Kiosk, click the Cancel button Pictured is a small gray button with a red x on it. in the toolbar at the top-left of the window to navigate back to the previous page.

ClosedCreate a Booking in Kiosk

To create a booking in Kiosk:

  1. Navigate to Legacy Menu > Facility Center > Kiosk.

    The Call Center Manager window opens.

  2. Click the Book Resource button on the toolbar at the top of the window.

    The Booking Details window opens.

  3. Enter all required fields, indicated in red.

    These fields include:

    • Booking type - such as conference room, equipment, etc.

    • Property

    • Building

    • Resource

    • Requestor information

    • Contact information

    • Booking Title

    • Cost Center

    • Start date/time

    • End date/time

  4. Enter any needed equipment.

  5. Click the Save button to the right of the equipment to ensure the equipment is saved in the booking.

    Equipment is configurable - equipment could include items such as include projectors, computers, telephones, or chairs.

  6. Enter any needed services.

  7. Click the Save button to the right of the services to ensure they are saved in the booking.

    Services are configurable - they could include things such as room set up/break down or catering.

  8. Enter the attendees.

  9. Click the Save button to the right of the attendees to ensure they are saved in the booking.

  10. Click the Check Availability button Pictured is a large square button with a green check mark on it..

    A message appears on the screen. It tells you if there are any schedule conflicts with your booking.

  11. Click the Save button.

    A message appears on the screen confirming that the booking has been created.

    A booking ID number is automatically created for the booking.

    You may now close the window.

ClosedEdit Bookings in Kiosk

To edit bookings in Kiosk:

  1. Navigate to Legacy Menu > Facility Center > Kiosk.

    The Call Center Manager window opens.

  2. Click the Search Bookings button Pictured is a small button that looks like a wall calendar with a magnifying glass looking at one of the dates. on the toolbar at the top of the window.

    The Search Bookings window opens.

  3. Enter as much information as possible into the search fields.

  4. Click the Search button.

    If there are multiple bookings which match your search criteria, they display in a table. Click a booking to open it.

    If there is only one booking which matches your search criteria, it opens automatically.

  5. Make your desired changes to the booking.

  6. Click the Save button.

    A message appears on the screen confirming that the booking has been updated.

    You may now close the window.

ClosedDelete Bookings in Kiosk

To delete bookings in Kiosk:

  1. Navigate to Legacy Menu > Facility Center > Kiosk.

    The Call Center Manager window opens.

  2. Click the Search Bookings button Pictured is a small button that looks like a wall calendar with a magnifying glass looking at one of the dates. on the toolbar at the top of the window.

    The Search Bookings window opens.

  3. Enter as much information as possible into the search fields.

  4. Click the Search button.

    If there are multiple bookings which match your search criteria, they display in a table. Click a booking to open it.

    If there is only one booking which matches your search criteria, it opens automatically.

  5. Click the Delete button Pictured is a square gray button with a recycle bin on it..

    A dialog box opens, asking you to confirm your choice.

  6. Click the OK button.

    The booking is deleted. You are returned to your search results.

ClosedSearch for Bookings in Kiosk

To search for bookings in Kiosk:

  1. Navigate to Legacy Menu > Facility Center > Kiosk.

    The Call Center Manager window opens.

    The Search Bookings window opens.

  3. Enter as much information as possible into the search fields.

  4. Click the Search button.

ClosedCheck Resource Availability in Kiosk

To check the availability of a resource from the Booking Details page in Kiosk:

  1. Navigate to Legacy Menu > Facility Center > Kiosk.

    The Call Center Manager window opens.

  2. Click the Book Resource button Pictured is a small button that looks like a wall calendar. on the toolbar at the top of the window.

    The Booking Details window opens.

  3. Enter the following data:

    • Booking Type

    • Property

    • Building

  4. Click the Availability tab at the top of the Booking Details table.

  5. Enter a Start Date in the Start Date field, or click the Calendar button to choose a date from the date picker.

  6. Select whether you want to view a week or a month from the Display For One field.

    The availability of the rooms matching your search criteria appears.
